Terms of Service

Welcome to TeamBoss. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TeamBoss platform, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by TeamBoss (“TeamBoss,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a sim racing team or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

TeamBoss is a sim racing team management platform designed to centralize team coordination, strategy, and community engagement. Features include but are not limited to:

•       Driver roster and profile management

•       Race scheduling and timeslot coordination

•       Stint planning and live RaceDay schedules

•       Car, paint, and setup catalog management

•       Team workspaces with role-based permissions

•       Integrations with iRacing, Discord, Google, Twitch, and YouTube

We may modify, add, or remove features at any time at our sole discretion.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account creation requires authentication via a supported third-party identity provider (currently Discord or Google OAuth). You must provide accurate, current, and complete information, including a valid iRacing ID, country, and timezone, to complete your driver profile.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@teamboss.net of any unauthorized access. 

4. User Roles & Team Workspaces

The Service supports multi-tenant team workspaces (“Team Sites”). Each Team Site has the following roles:

•       Owner — full administrative control, including team settings, billing, and membership.

•       Admin — manage roster, races, paints, setups, and assign permission sets.

•       Driver — view and contribute according to assigned permission sets.

Owners and Admins are responsible for managing access to their Team Site, including invitation and removal of members and assignment of permission sets. TeamBoss is not responsible for disputes between team members.

5. Subscriptions, Fees & Payments

Certain features of the Service are offered on a paid subscription basis (“Paid Plans”). By subscribing to a Paid Plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the point of purchase. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms. We may change pricing at any time; changes will not take effect until your next billing cycle and you will be notified in advance.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of access to paid features. Optional PayPal donation links displayed within Team Sites are arranged directly between teams and their supporters; TeamBoss does not process these donations and is not a party to those transactions.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including driver data, race plans, paint and setup links, team branding, and other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant TeamBoss a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display such User Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

•       Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

•       Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service by automated means without express written permission.

•       Abuse the driver invitation system, including spamming, sending unsolicited invitations, or impersonating others.

•       Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code of the Service.

•       Upload malware, attempt to interfere with the Service’s operation, or circumvent access controls.

•       Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm other users.

•       Misrepresent your iRacing identity, team affiliation, or role within a Team Site.

We reserve the right to investigate and take action, including suspension or termination, against accounts that violate this section.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including iRacing, Discord, Google, Twitch, YouTube, and PayPal. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. TeamBoss is not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of any third-party service.

Specifically: PayPal links displayed within the Service are configured by team administrators and represent voluntary contributions to those teams; donations are not processed by TeamBoss.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share information about you. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks (excluding User Content), is owned by TeamBoss or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TEAMBOSS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TEAMBOSS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TeamBoss and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@teamboss.net or using the in-app account deletion option, where available.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice via the Service (e.g., in-app notification) or by email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and TeamBoss regarding the Service. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.
